Workers´ compensation is a no-fault insurance program mandated by the state of Georgia, paying medical bills and lost wages to employees who have experienced a workplace injury. In exchange for benefits, employees under this program must relinquish their right to sue their employer for damages.

• A physical impairment rating if you have a permanent disability
• Penalties if the workers´ compensation carrier does not abide by certain rules
